PANTONE® Formula Scale
Classic

The NEW PANTONE Formula Scale Classic has been introduced to provide a lower cost solution for making ink mixes of the core range of PANTONE Colors, up to 5kg. It will be ideal for the cost conscious printer, who perhaps only mixes PANTONE Colors occasionally, and those who are already familiar with the 'classic' design.

This model builds on the past success of the previous PANTONE Formula Scales. These have been well proven by the many thousands of commercial printers throughout the world, who rely daily on their PANTONE Formula Scales for accurate mixes of PANTONE Colors.

The PANTONE Formula Scale Classic is ready programmed with all of the formulations found in the PANTONE formula guide that can be mixed from the standard 15 base Colors. It can be used to mix up to 5kg of ink, or for those who still like to work with imperial measures, the scale can also be set to weigh up to 10 lbs.

A key feature of this model, and of all PANTONE Formula Scales, is that the formulas for mixing PANTONE Colors are ready programmed into the scale memory. It makes mixing the inks quick and easy - you just enter the PANTONE Number and ink quantity required, and the scale automatically does the calculations and steps you through the weighing process.

The low cost of this 'classic' model means everyone can enjoy the benefits of using the PANTONE Formula Scales, even for occasional use. There is no waiting for special Color inks to be delivered, and no messing about getting the formula right. Save by using lower cost base Color inks, and mixing just the amount for the current job. After all, when it comes to reprints, you know you will be able to get the same color again!
